MOLOK launch tonight
Join us online or in the flesh
I’ve been in a field for a week without a phone over in Bedfordshire with Rozi and the boys at an Eight Shields/Art of Mentoring camp. It was pretty glorious for us, all told, and being back in the worlds of work and the internet is crunchy.
But, tonight I’m launching MOLOK at the Moor Imagination Collective in Buckfastleigh. If you’re in the area, please do come along - tickets are by donation and you can get them on the door or here. All ticket sales are going to the Sameer Foundation in Gaza.
Launching this book feels like a complex thing, but I’ll be reading poems and talking about poetic obligation, the limits of power and the possibilities of wonder. Probably quite a lot of talk about medicine against despair, too. Mostly, I think it’ll be a fertile conversation with whoever comes along, interspersed with poetry. I’ll read some of the old ones, too.
And, of course, there’ll be copies of MOLOK and all the other books. If you haven’t got your copy yet, do please attend to that here — or here for the e-book — on the usual sliding scale. Support poetry, support poets. We’re going to need us even more as these times unfold, I predict with prayers to be wrong.
Click the button to get tickets and find out the details. We start at 7pm, so aim to be there a little before. I believe there’s a bar.

Congratulations wish i could be there!
Good luck on your launch of Molok!
